Payment Methods & Invoicing Policy
How Detailed Gibstopping Limited issues GST tax invoices, processes trade payments, and manages construction milestones.
1. Accepted Payment Options
To facilitate transparent accounting for residential clients, main building contractors, and commercial developers, DETAILED GIBSTOPPING LIMITED accepts the following secure payment methods:
🏦 Direct Bank Transfer / Internet Banking
Our preferred method for all New Zealand residential contracts and commercial builder accounts. Bank account details and invoice reference codes are printed clearly on each official invoice.
💳 Debit & Credit Cards (Visa / Mastercard)
Secure electronic payment links sent with digital invoices for quick remote settlement.
2. Goods & Services Tax (GST)
All quotations and invoices are calculated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and clearly delineate the 15% GST component in full compliance with the Goods and Services Tax Act 1985. Official GST numbers are stated on all statements.
3. Progress Claim Schedule
For larger residential projects or commercial developments, invoicing is structured on defined progress milestones:
- Mobilization & Bedding (30%): Due upon commencement and completion of initial tape bedding.
- Intermediate & Finishing Coats (40%): Due upon completion of second and finishing coats across all agreed surfaces.
- Final Hand-Over (30%): Due upon completion of final dustless sanding and quality walk-through.
4. Invoicing Terms & Due Dates
Invoices are issued electronically upon milestone completion and are payable within seven (7) calendar days of receipt, unless an ongoing trade account agreement specifies 20th-of-month commercial terms.
